Resurrection E-news: Sunday, October 21, 2018

Dear members and friends of LCR,

On Sunday, October 21 (and Wednesday the 24th), we will conclude our “Give Yourself a Power Surge” sermon series with a message on Marks of Discipleship: Giving by Pastor Miranda. God invites us to a life-changing willingness to live generously. How does giving benefit our hearts as disciples?  When we are touched by Jesus’ unconditional love and abundant grace, how will we respond? How might our giving be a part of Jesus’ work to transform lives and change the world? How can giving generously enliven in you, and LCR, a power surge of faith and hope? The Galileans will share an anthem at 8:00, with holy communion also served at that service.

A Take Away Hunger Packaging Event will be held this Sunday, October 21, starting at 9:00. We are in need of  people for the 10:05 – 11:00 time slot. Stop by the fellowship hall if you want to help feed those in need.

If you have been attending LCR for a while and would like to explore membership or just meet the pastors, we will have our new member “Coffee with the Pastors” event this Sunday, October 21 from 1-3 pm. We will give you a tour of our facility and talk about what’s involved in membership at LCR.

There are other unique events and opportunities that we want to alert you to through this weekly e-note. Our website (www.lcrmarion.org) provide more details on each topic.

Blessings to you,

Pastor Dennis
