Dear members and friends of LCR,
This Sunday, May 5, we will continue our new sermon series- Unafraid: Living with Courage and Hope. My sermon will be on “Fear of the Other.” This series will explore the most common worries and fears experienced by Americans today; consider practical steps for overcoming these fears; and look at these fears in the light of scripture and faith that calls us to live with courage and hope. This week’s focus is on crime, racism, terrorism, and politics.
New Member Seminar – On Sunday, May 5th from 1-3 pm we invite all those who have been attending LCR and would like to explore membership. We’ll tour the building, get acquainted, and talk about the church’s past and future.
LCR’s Bible Camp ‘Giving Tree’ will be in the gathering space with envelopes for your gifts through May 12. In addition to your Giving Tree donations, each camper is going to receive a $150 scholarship from the General Fund ($75 for mini-campers).
