Dear members and friends of LCR,
On this Sunday, August 5th (and Wednesday the 8th), our EDGE youth and adults will share stories in worship from their recent mission trip to Houston, Texas. They partnered with Youth Works and local organizations to help rebuild homes following Hurricane Harvey. Students served in immense heat and showed Christ’s love through their work. These reports are an annual highlight for our congregation as we hear how God is at work through our teenagers and young adults.
There are other unique events and opportunities that we want to alert you to through this weekly e-note. Our website (www.lcrmarion.org) provide more details on each topic.
Blessings to you,
