Lutheran Church of the Resurrection is pleased to host a few community groups whose mission complements our own. Call the church office to find out when these groups meet and we can put you in touch with the organizers.
Dementia Caregivers’ Support Group
The Alzheimer’s Association’s Caregiver Support Groups help participants exchange practical information on caregiving problems and solutions, and encourage caregivers to maintain their own personal well-being. http://www.alz.org/
Alcoholics Anonymous is an international fellowship of men and women who have had a drinking problem. It is nonprofessional, self-supporting, and available almost everywhere. There are no age or education requirements. Membership is open to anyone who wants to do something about his or her drinking problem. http://www.aa.org/
Boy Scouts of America
The Boy Scouts of America provides a program for young people that builds character, trains them in the responsibilities of participating citizenship, and develops personal fitness. BSA believes that helping youth is a key to building a more conscientious, responsible, and productive society. http://www.scouting.org/
