Christmas Worship

Christmas Eve – Saturday, December 24, 2011
3:00, 5:00 & 7:00
The traditional service of Lessons and Carols will be observed at all of our Christmas Eve worship services. The story of the Messiah’s birth will be retold in the readings of scripture and in the singing of favorite Christmas hymns and songs. Each service will include a special candlelight singing of Silent Night and Holy Communion will be offered.

Christmas Day – Sunday, December 25, 2011
9:45 – A Global Christmas
A special Christmas Day worship service will take the place of our regular Sunday morning worship schedule. Christmas Carols from different nations around the world will be the theme as we celebrate the birth of the Christ with brothers and sisters in faith around the world. Holy Communion will be offered at this service as well.

Lutheran Church of the Resurrection recognizes that Holy Communion is the Lord’s supper and we are the servants at his table. Guests and visitors who desire the presence of God that comes in the sharing of bread and wine are welcome to take part in Holy Communion with us.
