August 28 & 31: Pastor Miranda speaks from the gospel of Luke
In Luke 14, Jesus attends a banquet in the home of a leader of the Pharisees. He observes guests jockeying for better positions at the head table. As he tells a parable about a wedding banquet, he teaches his disciples, then and now, about humility, hospitality, and caring for those who cannot repay you.
