This Sunday, September 19th, please join us for a great day of worship, music, food and fellowship at the Marion Square Park from 11-3pm. Starting at 11am there will be an outdoor worship service. After the service concludes take a moment to grab some of the great grilled food, chips, cookies, popcorn and drinks before the featured music starts. All of the proceeds from Sunday go to support local ministries.
At noon, our own high school band “Reborn” will kick off the music. They will be followed by our very own worship band, “With Faith.”
And lastly, our featured band all the way from Clearwater, Florida, “Among the Thirsty“, will be playing at 1:30pm. The Christian rock band has been gaining tremendous attention around the country with their cutting edge rock, powerful worship and engaging ministry. From their humble beginnings, Among the Thirsty has captivated crowds of all ages with their cross-generational, cross genre music and promises to fulfill the growing demand. To learn more and hear their music go to www.amongthethirsty.com.
Bring your chairs and bring some friends for a great day in the park!
*If the weather doesn’t permit us to be in the park we will move the festival to Lutheran Church of the Resurrection at 3500 29th Avenue in Marion. Check back here on our website if you are uncertain.
